Welcome Letter
Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Local Organising Committee and the International Scientific Committee, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 37th Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) in Ljubljana, Slovenia from May 6-11, 2019. The organization of the Meeting is a joint effort of ESPID members from Slovenia and Croatia. Our main intent is to bring together the most prominent researchers in the field of paediatric infectious diseases, immunology and epidemiology and to fill in the gaps between these disciplines in a relaxed, smart albeit casual atmosphere. We believe the host city of Ljubljana is an ideal venue to achieve these goals, with a nice, historic city centre, relaxing greenery and all the hotels being situated within walking distance of the conference venue. Bring your research results and ideas to Ljubljana and join us to interact with fellow PID friends and colleagues from around the world. We will do our best to balance the outstanding scientific programme with fruitful social and networking activities.
