Promotional & Advertising Opportunities

  • Opportunity to organise an Official Industry Symposium in a Plenary Hall, up to 90 minutes
  • (Programme subject to the approval by the Meeting Scientific Committee)
  • Includes: hall rental, standard audio/visual equipment, display table
  • Time Slots: allocated on a first come, first served basis
  • Permission to use the phrase: “Official Industry Symposium of ESPID 2019”
  • Symposium Programme will be included in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the Programme (subject to receipt by publishing deadline)
  • Industry Symposium will be indicated in the programme as: Industry Supported Symposium – (not included in the main event CME/CPD credit offering, please refer to the Industry Support and Exhibition Section for more information).
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website, mobile application and on signage during the event.​

The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover all speakers’ expenses including registration, accommodation and travel expenses. This also applies in case the Sponsored Symposium speakers have already been invited by the event organisers.

Rules for booking symposia:
• Symposia Bookings will be analyzed by ESPID Board to avoid clashes in topics and to have a balanced programme.
• No new symposia slots/timing will be added until all the ones available have been already taken.
• Costs will vary between different days- please check the price list for more information.
• Priority on Tuesday symposium slot will be given to companies who also support ESPID Travel Grant as part of its package. More information can be found here.
• Companies can only book one symposium on Tuesday.
• Slots will be allocated according to the Sponsorship Level / Total Contribution to the Meeting.
• All bookings will be confirmed after review of the ESPID Board.

​​For the above Symposium options, the following applies:

  • Satellite Symposia are offered to industry as non-CME commercial/promotional sessions and are allocated on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
  • Supporting companies are free to choose topics, invite speakers, and control content. However, topic and programme are subject to approval by the scientific committee.
  • Under current regulations, ESPID strongly discourages industry-employed speakers in the supported symposia. Exceptions are occasionally made where a clear and well-argued case is made that a particular speaker would be the best person for a particular topic within the structure and content of the symposium proposed.
  • In case the scientific committee does not approve the Satellite Symposia programme, each party will be entitled to cancel the Satellite Symposium booking without paying any penalty for the cancellation or for any damages caused by the cancellation to the other party. Accordingly upon such cancellation, neither of the parties will have any claims, demands or suits towards the other.
  • The company, in addition to the support fee, must cover all speaker expenses, including registration fees, accommodation and travel expenses. This also applies in the case where the  sponsored symposium speakers have already been invited by the event organisers.
  • Satellite Symposium will be indicated in the programme as: Industry Supported Session- (not included in the main event CME/CPD credit offering – please refer to the Industry Support and Exhibition section for more information).”​

The ability to attend all Meetings, or alternatively, all Meeting sessions, is virtually impossible for the busy medical professional. Therefore there is a growing need to share knowledge and learning opportunities beyond the dates of the actual event and high-quality webcasting helps meet this substantial educational need.

Materials are saved locally, but at the same time, can be distributed over the web to viewers around the world via a robust cloud server. Viewers can access the broadcasts using PCs, tablets or smartphones live (as streamed video) or later, on-demand as a webcast.

Kenes offers two types of webcasting options:

• Video includes a video screen of the speaker/presenter during the session, PowerPoint slides (in sync with the speaker), and audio

• Digital Imaging includes PowerPoint slides with audio

Support of a networking area for short meetings, that can be scheduled onsite by ESPID participants.

Opportunity to place company logo on the lanyards. The Organising Committee will select the type and design of the lanyards. The support entitlements are as follows:

Branded Charging Kiosk for multiple devices, including smartphones and tablets. It’s a great way to leave a lasting impression on the meeting delegates.

The Social Media Wall is an exciting and modern item which encourages delegates to post messages related to ESPID 2019.  This item provides your company great exposure!

The on-site social media specialist will moderate the interactions to ensure that only appropriate and Meeting related interactions are shared on the main screen.

  • A large screen will appear in a main area of the convention center  showing all social media interactions that include the Meeting hashtag #ESPID2019.
  • Your company logo will be placed on the social media wall​ with ˝Supported by… ˝ and a company logo only.
  • Support will be recognised in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website,  mobile application and with signage during the event

The World Map is a unique touchscreen map of a 2D atlas providing viewers with extra info/data on meeting participants from around the globe. The map is an interactive experience for participants to connect based on their geographical origins. The touchscreen display can be placed in a central location at the meeting venue and serves as an information and communications tool, ideal for enhancing participant networking.

  • Support will be recognised on a separate printed sign/rollup located beside the World Map screen, with ˝Supported by… ˝ and a company logo only.
  • Support will be recognised in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website,  mobile application and with signage during the event
​Wireless Network Provision: Delegates wishing to access the internet via their own laptop/ smartphone may do so by using the Meeting Wi-Fi. Supporter of this piece of technology will receive strong visibility during the meeting.
  • An initial branded splash screen will bear the supporter logo and company name.
  • Support will be recognised in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website,  mobile application and with signage during the event.
Rent a room at the Meeting venue and use it to host and entertain your guests throughout the Meeting. Supporters will have the option to order catering at an additional cost.

Supporter will have the opportunity to promote itself through a networking reception on the first evening to which all registered attendees are invited. Hospitality and any activities provided will be in compliance with all relevant industry codes.

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

Full inside page color advertisement in a designated section of the Meeting App.

Gain additional exposure for your Symposium and/or booth,  by sending out an e-mailshot to the pre-registered delegates who have agreed to disclose their details. Mailshot to be sent at a date and time coordinated with the Meeting Organiser.
  • E-mailshot to be designed and provided by the supporter by agreed deadline and  following given guidelines.
  • Support will be recognised in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website,  mobile application and with signage during the event following all compliance regulations.​

Please note that it is the Exhibitors’/Supporters’ responsibility to comply with the local authority’s regulations, EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industries & Associations) www.efpia.orgMedtech Europe (represents Medical Technology Industry) and IFPMA (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations) www.ifpma.org Code of Practice on the promotion of medicines.  Failure to comply with these regulations may not be used as a ground to declare the contract void.  Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will not expose the Organiser to any suits, demands by the Exhibitor/Supporter or any other third party.
