Meet the Expert (MTE) Sessions will be held on Wednesday, May 8  and Thursday, May 9  between 07:00 and 07:50. There is no need to register for these sessions. If the room is full you may need to choose to attend a different session.

ESPID 2019’s Meet the Expert Sessions will consist of interactive case-based discussions with one or two expert discussants and a coordinator who will select and present cases on a a topic of interest. The experts may frequently use case reports with questions regarding diagnosis and management, usually chosen from ESPID 2019 abstract submission.

Participants are encouraged to submit educational or controversial cases to one of the Meet the Expert sessions. Select the relevant Meet the Expert abstract topic  (see list below – for all types of abstract topics click here ), select the stream: Case Report or Case Series, submit and get a chance to have one of the top experts of the field discuss your case.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CASE TO A MEET THE EXPERT SESSION:

1. Enter the abstract submission system.
2. Please note: Meet the Expert Topics map to one of the Meet the Expert sessions in the Meeting’s programme.
3. Should you wish to have your abstract considered as an educational or controversial case in one of these sessions, please select the stream: Case Report or Case.
4. Submit you abstract.
5. Authors of cases selected for the MTE sessions will be informed by email regarding the status of their abstract and may be contacted by the MTE coordinator assisting the expert of the particular session.
